Brief
We wanted to develop an app where users could engage with their friends, bet on soccer matches and receive virtual rewards. Through this app we wanted to create an attractive environment for people who love soccer to engage with each other and create different challenges.
Solution
We built an app where users can be ranked up and win different rewards. It allows users to engage with the public, invite friends to join and create challenges for soccer matches. Additionally, the winner gets rewarded with virtual coins and can buy things from the store.
Key features: using sockets for real-time updates, rankings; using a third-party API for scores, Redis for cache management, scheduling cron jobs for various tasks, receiving notifications with firebase, and listing achievements.
Outcome
A gaming app that provides experiences that support deep human motivators, like social connection, purpose, and mastery, featuring human-centered design with illustrations, vibrant visuals, sound effects, and animations.
